about mspf
The Montreal Street Photography Festival (MSPF) is a dynamic celebration of the art of candid storytelling. As Montreal’s first dedicated festival of its kind, MSPF seeks to elevate street photography as both an artistic discipline and a powerful means of cultural expression.
MSPF was created with the belief that photography has the power to connect people, tell untold stories, and celebrate the beauty of everyday life. Rooted in a vision of inclusivity and artistic exchange, the festival was built by the community, for the community—providing a welcoming space where local and international photographers can share their work, exchange ideas, and inspire one another.
By bringing together photographers of all levels—from seasoned professionals to emerging talents—the festival aims to not only inspire creativity, but to showcase the energy and diversity of street life, in Montreal and abroad. Through exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, and photowalks, participants and audiences alike will engage with thought-provoking visual narratives that capture the fleeting beauty of everyday moments.
